I’ve worked in a variety of departments assisting in the daily care of exotic, dangerous animals and plants. Departments included Plant & Horticulture, Maintenance, Night Hunters, Primates Center, and Bird House.
Daily Tasks included: Mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, meal preparation, planting flowers, hand feeding/ feeding multiple species of exotic animals (penguins, tigers, cougars, aardvarks, gorillas, and many more). Daily tasks also included preparation for the Festival of Lights, as well as breakdown from the festivities. Also, but not limited to cleaning the cages of various animals.

Completed various tasks including customer services, greeting up to 80,000 visitors a day, directing traffic, assisting visitors with parking, operating carousel, suggestive selling and upselling to customers, member services, enforcing park rules, dealing with and sometimes comforting small children, disbursing large crowds, seating visitors for train rides, opening and closing various locations of the park, administering first aid, handling card and cash transactions, assisting visitors when needed and much more.
