I’ve not needed a resume for over 30 years so I am putting down my job responsibilities and skills acquired over the last 30 years. Past work:
Distribution Center Maintenance Mechanic for Pittsburg Paint (PPG). 1984 until 10/31/2022. Worked as a general laborer, lead maintenance, shipping, and finally DC Maintenance.
Duties: Repair machinery, order parts and supplies, drive forklift trucks, order pickers and scissors lift. Work with outside contractors as needed for special projects. Safety checks monthly on various items.
Special skills: Can do some maintenance on computers, capable of doing custom tinting, can repair the dispensing machines, stretch wrappers, zebra printers. I can read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and I am able to trouble shoot machines using a manual. I also do some electrical wiring and low voltage wiring. At one point in time I had my own side business of home repair/remodeling on weekends. I am proficient laying tile, laminate flooring, rough in carpentry to finish, some plumbing and electrical. Can put up sheetrock and paint. Roofing and grounds keeping as well.
