Medical Supplies Management Officer - Warehouse Operations & Distribution Medical Supplies Division - Ministry of Health, Nutrition & Indigenous Medicine [ 2014 – Current ] Country: Sri Lanka

Directly involves with the supply chain and logistics process by strategically planning day-to-day work schedules and managing the distribution network to obtain optimum service outcomes for the Medical Supplies Division. duties and responsibilities.

• Improve the warehouse process, personal capacity, and capabilities, and ensure efficient space utilization

• Arrange the warehouse's day-to-day plan routes based on the requirements of government hospitals and other health institutions through the ERP system

• To ensure that adherence to all established SOPs of the warehouse and monitoring of the same

• Responsible for reports to the head of the department, other relevant healthcare professionals, and both local and foreign suppliers regarding products, if any incident occurs during the receiving, dispensing, storage, and dispatch

• Ensure the effective and safe use of warehouse equipment

• Receiving, issuing, goods issuing records, storage, and material segmentation as per the designed conditions in the warehouse

• Check and control warehouse activities such as compliance with warehouse health and safety regulations, relevant standard operations procedures, and cleaning and disinfection

• Handling of deviations, change controls, and incidences for the warehouse as per the established QMS system

• Arrange the annual stock verification and participated as a part of the audit purpose stock count

• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, and delivery times

• check the area clearance before the receiving, dispensing, and dispatch

• Receive feedback from end users and monitor the quality of service provided

• Oversee the delivery, loading, and unloading of goods, and ensure they are safely transported to Government hospitals and Regional Institutions
