I have worked in an Adult Care setting. At HomeHealth in Shelby I started as a caregiver for a private company, where I groomed patients, administered medication, CPR certified, Dietary Aide, and entertained the patients. After 2 years I was promoted to Receptionist doing various performances such as answering incoming calls, patient scheduling, paperwork, data entry into the computer, faxing, copying, and filing. In 1997 I volunteered at an assisted Living facility where I got the feel of working with senior citizens and enjoyed it alot. I've also worked as a Dietary Aide for an Alzheimer's Facility in Gastonia nc. I feel that with more training I can be the best at what I am already. I understand the need of people who cannot help themselves because of my son who was born with Autism. I have completed college courses in Medical terminology 1&11. Also computer course and records management completion with a GPA of 4.0
