My education history includes graduating from secondary school in Bagley MN in June 2011, graduating from Bemidji State University with a Bachelor ‘s in Science (Medical Science Emphasis) in Biology (minors in Chemistry and Mathematics) in May 2017, and graduating from Northwest Technical college with an RN degree on May 8th, 2020, I passed the NCLEX-RN® Exam on July 16th, 2020. I am currently working toward my certification in Health & Life Coaching through the Health Coach Institute. The program will be complete by the end of September 2023. I can begin orientation four weeks after I give my current employer my resignation notice. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for considering me for this position. I currently work at a startup whose primary focus is to provide low-income individuals access to telehealth services and remote patient monitoring. My motivation for applying to this job stems from my desire to gain new skills, give back to the community by sharing my expertise from working as a nurse for three years in various different roles, and gain new experiences.

My most recent jobs are as follows; my first job as a nurse was at Martin Luther Care Center in Bloomington, MN. I worked in the transitional care unit. My second job as a nurse was at Regina Hospital in Hastings MN on a Medical/Surgical/Specialty Care unit. My third job as a nurse was through an agency called A-Line Staffing. They gave me a contract to work at the CVS in Plymouth MN for COVID Rapid Result testing. My fourth job as a nurse is through Pride Health staffing agency. I was a COVID vaccine and PCR testing nurse for the Hennepin County Clinic and Specialty Care center. I became ill with COVID and needed to take time to recover, I stepped down from nursing and took a job as a paraprofessional at Dakota Ridge behavior school. In February of 2022, I took a position as the Village Program Manager for an assisted living/memory care facility, Havenwood of Burnsville. I am currently working at HealtheMed (Clinic@Home) as a Nurse Consultant. I provide telehealth equipment to clients under Caddi/CAC waivers in the state of MN as well as provide health/wellness coaching to clients interested in working toward health/wellness goals. The knowledge I gained through these experiences are surmountable and allowed significant growth in my skill set. I genuinely believe that with my experiences, enthusiasm, and desire to learn more will contribute to my success as an employee. I am a fast learner and efficient worker.
