Profile Summary
Seeking an entry-level opportunity working with data. I am proficient with Python, good statistical knowledge and the ability to identify points of data. Well versed in spreadsheets, statistics, machine learning, predictive modeling, and visualization tools. Passion for excellence, eagerness to work, learn and explore new areas keeps me driving.
Academic Projects
Project title: Malaria Detection with Deep Learning Description: Used deep learning to create a model that detects and differentiates between images of uninfected and malaria infected red blood cells with a 98.4% accuracy.
Project title: Number Recognition from Street Level Images Description: Created a convolutional neural network that recognizes numbers in street level images with a 90% accuracy. The model will be used to detect addresses in images. Project title: FoodHub Data Analysis
Description: Uni-variate and multivariate analysis of a large dataset from a food delivery company to find ways to improve revenue. Six minute reduction in average weekend delivery times resulted in a 12% increase in revenue. Work Experience
Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, FL – Cell Therapy/Clinical Trial Technologist August 2021 – April 2023
● Increased the number of clinical trial IRBs handled by the cell therapy laboratory by 25%. Collaborating with multiple health care departments and created a system organizing the stages and details of each trial were used to achieve this.
● Increased the number of successful patient stem cell transplants by 33%. I joined a small team and with my enthusiasm for learning, I quickly became a key member of the laboratory.
LifeSouth, Jacksonville, FL – Immunohematology Reference Laboratory Technologist
September 2019 – August 2021
● My proficiency enabled the creation of an evening shift and I fully trained one employee in one month.
● Increased the number of patient workups completed by 50% due to the creation of the evening shift.
● Used an Excel spreadsheet to monitor the phenotypes and blood types of the special antigen negative red blood cells we stocked.
