LIA is a nationwide program that’s mainly focused on making sure all Hispanics get all scholarship opportunities, show off their talents or hidden talents, and help those students who are in LIA to better their grades and their GPA. Thanks to LIA for helping me find scholarships and for being able to help me even more so that I have better grades, I earned a total of 2 scholarships from CollegeBoard.

Right before when I was about to graduate, my school does a virtual ceremony via YouTube to announce specific students who were able to receive whether a scholarship or an award. At the end of my Senior school year, LIA requested us and the rest of the LIA members across Florida State to do a 3-day field trip to Tallahassee for different reasons: To meet the other member of LIA who goes to different schools, talk about main common issues that need to be solved as soon as possible, make it as a legislative law, and present it to the Florida governing body. Thanks to that, I got two awards for being able to perform and talk about my group’s legislative law in front of the governing body, and for participating in all the activities.
