Project Title: Antibiotic resistance by overuse, misuse, and repeated use of drugs.

Duration :1 month

Methods use: Culturing of bacteria in the laboratory and using common antibiotics on them.

Key points:

Grew bacteria on culture and observed the growth of bacteria in the presence of antibiotics.

Repeated the addition of antibiotics to the bacterial culture.

Most of the bacteria in the culture were killed but a few survived.

Extracted the surviving bacteria from the culture and grew them in another fresh culture.

Addition of antibiotics to the freshly grown culture and observe the results. Result: The freshly grown culture was resistant to the antibiotic that was added and a full culture was formed.

Conclusion: The bacteria in the fresh culture became resistant to the antibiotic added previously and grew in its presence.
