Letter of Introduction
July, 2021
Hello,
In June of this year my wife and I moved from Knoxville, Tennessee to Hudson, Florida. I am seeking Clinical Chaplain work at hospitals in the Pasco County area. In the past two decades my career has focused on providing pastoral and clinical care to organizations and individuals in crisis. During that time, I received training in Clinical Pastoral Education completing the four CPE units at a large trauma hospital in New Jersey in 2014. I was board certified by The College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy in 2016. (cpsp.org).
I have effectively provided pastoral and chaplain care at two large hospitals, a large metropolitan retirement center and to several church congregations experiencing a leadership crisis. As a result, I can offer and provide effective compassionate care to individuals, families and organizations experiencing trauma. From my experiences working with large institutions and churches, I have designed and conducted many crisis recovery seminars to help large groups process their painful experiences together with others who were also involved by the crisis.
I have been an ordained Presbyterian minister since 1994. My denomination information can be found at its website: epc.org. The Chaplain administrator for the denomination is Rev. Mark Engles, a retired Navy Chaplain. Please consider me for a chaplain position at your hospital.
Sincerely Yours,
John Quigley
