As a Project Manager/Construction Manager and Technical Director, I am responsible for overseeing the process to build consensus, maintain, and manage agreements between members of the design and construction team regarding the alignment, buildings or projects locations, design features, environmental impact mitigation, storm water management, landfill, and construction of rail transit systems throughout planning, design, and construction phases. I collaborate with agency staff and project stakeholders to provide updates on regional transit projects to make informed decisions related to its importance to project implementation. In addition, I manage specific elements of the scope, budget, Proposals and schedule on behalf, of Highland Alhujaz (HLH) and of Systems Consulting, LLC (SCL) for its clients. At (HLH), I was the technical director and I managed the design, Quality, Safety and scheduling Departments. I was managing all the projects phases starting from the request for proposal (RFP) to the completion of the project. I also supported SCL’s quality efforts of conducting process and system audits of the contractors, designers, design builders, project management teams and construction management teams that the owner has contracted to deliver and manage the delivery of projects that are part of the quality management oversight program.

As a Quality Manger (QM) and/or Design Quality Manager (DQM), I was leading the quality department as a deputy program manager for PARSONS for the design-build of 145 clinics, the renovation of 15 hospitals and the renovation of two multi story educational buildings, I also was (QM) for CHP facility and transportation, and many other construction projects. I am Overseeing and attending all pre-construction, status, quality control, weekly progress, and safety meetings. Manage Quality system and process Surveillance and Audit. I Implement the company QA/QC management plan, supervise and manage all construction QA/QC activities to insure that works meet the contract requirements and specifications, this includes routine inspections (materials, off-site/on-site and completion/turnover) as well as the USACE 3-phase inspection process. I developing and create the required inspection checklists for all features of work in according to the drawings and specifications, QA/QC reporting, project records and photo documentation, Inspection and test scheduling (plan), review and managing submittals, as built drawings, test records, acceptance criteria, master punch list, field logbook, rework items list, and close out procedures. Tracking construction deficiencies, nonconformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions (CAR), suspension/Stop of work, and acceptance of completed components…etc.

As a subject matter expert in Civil Structural Design, Soil-Structure, and design Management (DM), I did the design and supervised the construction as a designer and consultant of two bridges with its connecting roads for MIG Companies under the USACE and I was design and quality Consultant for Badoush DAM under the Consultation Engineering office/collage of engineering/ the university of Baghdad for the benefit of Ministry of Irrigation, IRAQ. I managed all soil stabilization, Soil Erosion and Sediment Control, landfill and compaction...etc. I also managed a team of architects, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and AutoCAD drafters for ECC under the USACE, at the Ministry of Housing, I was the Engineering Dep. Manager, and I was leading a design team and department for many infrastructures construction projects.
