CURATORIAL EXPERIENCES (SELECTION)

June 2023 Co-curator / EROTIKA II Pride Festival (Fort Lauderdale, FL), event at MadArts, a 50,000 square foot space and in the metaverse with an exhibition and performance program featuring 27 artists from the five continents. Endeavour organised through ClitSpash, a feminist digital art curatorial collective Garrote co-founded in February 2021.

March 2023 Conceiver, curator and producer / Beyond the Body,(Havana, Cuba), Multidisciplinary hybrid, digital and physical art show held in Galleria Taller Gorría as well as virtually in Ninfa Market Place in Milan Italy. December 2022 – April 2023 Curator / Poesía de Protesta theVERSEverse gallery, a collection of poems written by 10 hispanic female poets and interpreted by international visual artists. The collection was shown at Refraction Festival (Miami, Fl), Ignite,

(MadArts Fort Lauderdale, FL), NFT Biennial (Bogotá Colombia), Proof of People, NFTNYC, NYC), NFT Europe, Valencia Spain.

May 2022 Curator / NFT Liverpool, Adelia Gallery, (Liverpool, UK) Garrote was selected next to key figures of the NFT ecosystem to curate one of the largest physical NFT art events until the date. Her selection consisted on digital art works by 100+ Latin American artists

March 2022 Curator and Art Consulting/ NFT Museum, Lynn University (Boca Raton, FL) Lynn University is the first American University to host an NFT Museum, Garrote curated the first show the Museum held.

CORPORATE WORK

March 2020 - Present Cultural strategist and Consultant for artists, firms and collectors / multiple artists, private collections and Web3 projects such as Snark.art, The Infinite Machine Movie Collection, Scholas Ocurrentes, Latin Builders, theVERSEverse, Nifty’s, among others.

September 2021 - Present Curator and Head of Artists Relations / Infinity Machine Movie Collection. The Infinite Machine NFT Collection is a collaborative effort by 36 emerging artists mainly from countries where decentralization has a major impact on lives and finances, including Cuba, Argentina, Venezuela, Kenya, Bolivia, and Chile. The proceeds will finance the first feature film about the Ethereum Blockchain. The movie will be directed by Scott Free Productions (Ridley Scott Production Company). Garrote selected the artists and coordinate the production of the artworks as well as the further marketing involving them.

April 2016 – December 2020 Collectors’ Relations and Studio Manager / 331 Art Space (Havana Cuba) worked a saleswoman in the gallery space selling contemporary art to high-end international clients.
