Dear Hiring Manager,

I would like to apply to the role as Solution Architect.

I have more than 20 years of experience in IT and telecommunications, starting in radio, TV, computer assembly and repairs, spanning to networking and software engineering.

My last role was for Optimum, an internet/Telephone/TV service provider, since 2017. My experience goes from modem and router validation/provisioning including DOCSIS/Fiber, troubleshooting, VPN and GRE network deployment using Cisco router and switches. I had also the opportunity to work on GPON/XGS-PON Unit and on Fiber and on DOCSIS network. I am working on provisioning, public static IP, tools development using Python and bash shell programming.

In my career, I had the opportunity to touch different domains in technology, such as Ethernet/LAN, WAN, IPsec VPN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi network including WiFi mesh network deployment. I worked on WiFi Protected Access Enterprise Infrastructure and deployed freeradius as AAA server.

I have a long experience installing and configuring DHCP server, using DHCP option to automatically provisioning cable modem/gateways. I configured MPLS routers. I was awarded for integrating MPLS router using Linux OS to build an MPLS domain. Furthermore, I have configured the following: MPLS domain for traffic engineering, using FEC class of Labels, OSPF-TE (extension traffic Engineering), LDP protocol to deploy the MPLS domain, Static and dynamic LSPs.

I am familiar with Ethernet LAN, IPTV/VoD architecture and components, function, contents, STB. I had myself experience integrating using raspberry-PI into STB.

In my last role, I write scripts to automatically provision voice devices, such as phones connected to the FTTH gateway eMTA using SIP and TR069 protocol. In audio/streaming protocol, I also configured some codec such H.323, G729, etc. I am familiar also with VLAN using Cisco switch or DOCSIS/FTTH Gateway to separate WiFi network from LAN network and from WiFi Guest network. I have working knowledge and experience on BGP, ISIS and RIP to deploy static IP or dynamic routing.
