A deck hand is someone who lay and tighten wires on a boat we always have to clean and keep up with the boat maintenance. We work outside in all climates for 8 days on and 4 off all 12 hour shifts. I moved up to a d2 in a short matter of time . My captain always says that he likes that I work hard and want to learn. This is the job I’m currently at and I really looking for a job that pays me more for my work and have better benefits.

My position at this job was a forklift operator. I worked 12 hours four days on four off and some weeks we would get mandated . I would have to check my lift and mark every trailer I did always meeting my goal or higher.I worked there and in a short matter of time I moved up and got my orange vest. My team lead and some higher ups always was pleased with my work and even said I did better then some of there other people that been there longer
