Phlebotomist

OBJECTIVE

I am looking for a career where I can grow and express my bold but driven personality.

Something that also allows me to display my creative visions, intelligence and determination at the same time. With my thirst for knowledge, I am always ready to learn new things to get the job done efficiently.

EXPERIENCE

SPECIMEN ASSESSING/ PHLEBOTOMY, SOUTHWEST GENERAL HOSPITAL; MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OHIO 2018–PRESENT

My tasks as specimen assessing is to receive specimens by logging them in and taking to technicians. Pouring off fluids and spinning specimens in centrifuges. Registering specimens and taking phone calls from floors. Looking up blood test that doctors or nurses needed. Documenting unacceptable specimens. Faxing blood results and many more tasks. As a phlebotomist I would draw patients and receive my blood work into the system then take it back to technicians. Both positions I would maintain collections logs.

SALES ASSOCIATE, MEN’S WAREHOUSE; AVON, OHIO 2019-2020 My responsibility for a sales associate was to measure and fit people for the different merchandise and sale them whatever they was looking for clothing wise. Greeting people was also the task I was given. I was let go of my position due to the COVID pandemic.

LEAD PHLEBOTOMIST, CSL PLASMA; ELYRIA, OHIO 2016-2018 As a lead phlebotomist my job was to maintain my production area and make sure everyone stays on task. I also had to attend leadership meetings and discuss how my areas was performing as a team. I also had to maintain a good venipuncture, process samples, watch patients and set up equipment needed to perform any task. I left this job to gain more phlebotomy experience in the hospital. As a day care provider it took patience and a lot of positive energy to care for children. Most of the time I tend to kids needs and maintained their well-being. I left this job to pursue my career in phlebotomy.
