Align and fit parts according to specifications, using jacks, turnbuckles, drift pins, pry bars, and hammers
Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials requirements and task sequences
Lay out and examine metal stock or work pieces to be processed to ensure that specifications are met RELATED EXPERIENCE

Pull, set and place cables in accordance to job specifications
Assist electricians in setting up grounding, termination boxes, and cabling Prepare and cut lines to predetermined lengths to assist electricians

Assemble or secure pipes, tubes, fittings, or related equipment, according to specifications
Turn valves to shut off steam or other gases or liquids from pipe sections, using valve keys or wrenches

Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as invoices or orders to verify accuracy
Participate in the loading and off-loading of pipe as part of rigging crew

Dig trenches of various length and depth using a VACTruck and pressure wand
Attach, Bolt-up, and Hydrotest pipe

Review and examine SETA Cards with crews
Ensure all flammable items are removed from hot work zones
Conduct weekly and monthly safety assessments
