Read blueprints or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures

Inspect, examine, or test installed systems or pipe lines, using pressure gauge or hydrostatic testing

Attach pipes to walls, structures, or fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clamps or tools

Assemble or secure pipes, tubes, fittings, or related equipment, according to specifications FABRICATION

Align and fit parts according to specifications, using jacks, turnbuckles, drift pins, pry bars, and hammers

Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials requirements and task sequences

Lay out and examine metal stock or work pieces to be processed to ensure that specifications are met RELATED EXPERIENCE

ELECTRICAL APPRENTICE – CONAM

Pull, set and place cables in accordance to job specifications

Assist electricians in setting up grounding, termination boxes, and cabling Prepare and cut lines to predetermined lengths to assist electricians

PIPE FITTER HELPER/HYDROTECH – NANA CONSTRUCTION LLC

Assemble or secure pipes, tubes, fittings, or related equipment, according to specifications

Turn valves to shut off steam or other gases or liquids from pipe sections, using valve keys or wrenches

Cut or thread pipes to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders, or pipe benders LOGISTICS/PIPE FITTER HELPER – UDELHOVEN OILFIELD SYSTEM SERVICES

Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as invoices or orders to verify accuracy

Participate in the loading and off-loading of pipe as part of rigging crew

Cut and prep duplex pipe and other pipe for welding HYDROTECH/CIVIL CREW – UDELHOVEN OILFIELD SYSTEM SERVICES

Dig trenches of various length and depth using a VACTruck and pressure wand

Attach, Bolt-up, and Hydrotest pipe

Assist pipe fitters and welders in the fabrication process SAFETY CHAMPION/PIPE CREW – CH2MHILL

Review and examine SETA Cards with crews

Ensure all flammable items are removed from hot work zones

Conduct weekly and monthly safety assessments
