I have worked all positions from Roughneck to Driller on the Rig side, Drilling for Falcon Drilling out of Houma. I then was offered a position to educate through Baroid to become a Fluids Engineer. I have experience on land as well as offshore. I have worked on Inland Barges, Platform Rigs, Jack Ups, Submersibles, Semi- Submersibles, Drill Ships and Floaters for the last 27 years. I also worked for Shell as the Senior Fluids Engineer in the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming and Colorado. Worked land wells in Bakersfield, Calf. On the Petroleum Reserve, South Texas, West Texas, and East Texas. I am very experienced and knowledgeable from planning Drilling Fluids System for wells, running and testing in the field, to managing Engineer's to confidently hold high standards in the field. Experienced with fluid systems that are used today in this modern technical and performance driven Oil& Gas Industry.

Worked up until May 2015, for Newpark Drilling Fluids out of New Iberia, La. as Senior drilling Fluids Engineer. Consulted and as a company employee for last 2 years. Laidoff due to the industry slowed down and the excess oil reserves causing the drilling to largely shut down.

Consulted for Arc. Drilling Fluids, Oxy, Halliburton Energy Services, Shell, Alta Mesa, Chevron, and MI Swaco. Also Drilled Texas, Calf., Colorado, and Wyoming, prior to hiring on with Newpark Drilling Fluids.

Experience-Years

Worked for Halliburton Energy Services out of New Orleans, La. As a Senior Drilling Fluids Engineer covering all of the Gulf of Mexico(Deep-Water, Shelf, Intercoastal, and land) projects for 13 years. Expertise in Drilling and Completions Wells, Extended Reach, Deep-Water, Air Drilling, Sulfur, Disposal, Under-balanced and High Down hole Temp. wells. Supervised Engineering/ Plant operation at Port of Fourchon, La. Formulated, Tested, and calculated all chemical additions to all drilling fluids built or returned ftom Plant. Anywhere from 25,000 -300,000bbls built, pumped and sent to offshore rig every week. Implementing safety of chemical and fluids transferred to offshore rigs. Proper paperwork and OSHA requirement guideline leaving for onshore and to offshore installations with proper Haz-Mat required packing and marking. Tested fluids using Centrifuges, Gas Chromatography, Spectrometer, and titration testing. BP, Chevron, Exxon, Kerr McGee, OXY, Shell. Supervised operations, logistics, and Quality control of operations. Performing Lab test on all fluids and the treatment and conditioning of fluids in the field. Environmental collecting and testing for federal guidelines.
