Title: Senior QA Engineer
Description: Brought on as the sole QA person for the team. Was responsible for learning the Jaguar website they use to keep track of laptops as they work through the repair process. Verified work would proceed as planned through the different processes (Holds, Rework, Engineering holds, etc.) and did not skip steps. Was brought in on a separate project that was falling behind to add needed manpower. Brought the project back online and helped it finish before it the due date. I used SQL for database testing and verification of data being written. Responsible for the deployment of the new releases on a biweekly basis. Implemented an automation testing process using third party software. Was instrumental in the scrum meetings, getting bugs and PBI’s prioritized and processed to completion.

Description: A full-time employee of RealPage Inc. I was hired to be the entire QA department for Chirp. Before I was brought on Chirp had been acquired by RealPage Inc. I remained in my position until the app was sunsetted and then moved into the Stratus company (also recently acquired by RealPage.) Was responsible for testing hardware, firmware, and software for their system to allow access to multifamily properties (ie. apartment buildings). The software consisted of an iOS and Android mobile app and two other web apps that all worked together to control and allow access to the apartment's doors and even devices inside the apartment such as thermostats, lights, and other devices.

Description: As a full-time employee of iLink Systems under contract to Halliburton I was working on the latest automated drilling software that was being produced. Experienced using Docker containers, Modbus for communication, and MobaXterm for remote control of virtual machines. We used Microsoft Azure Dev/Ops for creating VM’s, Azure SQL and Power BI. Created test cases and bugs using TFS and Azure Dev/Ops. Used Postman to test code before a GUI was ready. Used Selenium to create automated test cases. Selected to run the scrum meeting when the manager was not able to attend.

Responsible for mentoring and managing junior team members and getting them up to speed as fast as possible and ensuring that all tests were completed in the allotted time frame for both Android and iPhone testing. I also interfaced with the T-Mobile vendors to ensure accurate and timely tracking of phones and related equipment.

Description: Digital River ran the online store for Microsoft, handling thousands of transactions every day with peaks related to holidays and new product releases. As a Senior Tester, I wrote test plans/cases, executed tests, managed defects, and provided status updates to the team. Test case and defect management was accomplished using HP’s ALM product. Testing was conducted on Android and iOS tablets and phones, as well as desktop PC testing. One of the team’s major accomplishments was realized over the holiday season; we had implemented a significant code upgrade, and through rigorous testing, achieved a record of zero technical failures during the year’s busiest shopping cycle. Worked autonomously and with an off-shore group to ensure that Microsoft’s e-commerce site was online 24/7 and that it met all customer and technical needs with a focus on quality, orders and credit card processing.

Description: Performed end-to-end testing on new release candidate of Server Management System (SMS). Once test environment was created, performed interoperability testing between SMS 3.0 and new systems as dictated by test cases. Also performed testing for compatibility with Windows mobile products.
