Personal Achievements

Volunteer at Humane Society

Volunteer on weekends and evenings to clean cages, exercise animals and make

the lives of animals as comfortable as possible. Animals bless our lives in so many ways, yet far too often they are abused and neglected. Laws passed to protect them are often ignored or simply not enforces. Our environment requires compassion for animals and an appreciation of their contribution to our planet.

Recently I have become a member of the PAWS program at Heart of the Valley Humane Society. The PAW’S program is a volunteer position that includes

Cat cuddling, event support, donation-pickup, Grounds keeping and Shelter

Maintenance. Compassionate animal care; daily dog care and daily cat care.

Volunteer at Eagle Mount

Eagle Mount is a therapeutic horseback-riding program that gives people with disabilities an opportunity to “mount up” on horses and attain both emotional and physical freedom. Working with these individuals gave me a great sense of self in that helping others while still working with animals proves that I am committed and able to take on any challenge that I am faced with.

1985: Montana State 4-H blue ribbon winner in Equitation, Horsemanship & Showmanship

1985-1988: State and District member of the Montana Music Festival.

1986-1988: Captain of fast-pitch softball team.

As per my resume, I have some gaps in employment. In 2004 I was asked to move from Bozeman, MT to Las Vegas, NV to be a caretaker for my mother, My father was in pretty good health back then, but my mom needed help my dad could not provide. Over the years I held positions at two or three jobs to pay my mortgage. My mom passed away in June of 2013. My dad lived with me in Belgrade, MT for a few months until he decided to move back to Las Vegas. Approximately six months later he changed his mind again and sold his home in Vegas and moved back to Bozeman. I sold my home in Belgrade and moved in with him at his home in Bozeman full time,

In January of this year he moved into a retirement home. He passed away on October 31, 2019. I took some time off and did some travelling.

In March of 2023 I broke my left shoulder in 3 places. At this time I feel I am ready to return to the workplace.
