Responsibilities Included:
During our Shift, I was required to stand in front of conveyor lines and pick certain material such as plastic, metal pipes, electric metal, metal pots and pans and all types of trash. When the machines were down we also had to do maintenance on the ground floor where we did a lot of shoveling.

Clean up spills of which any customers or store associates have made to prevent further accidents.
Scan Eight barcodes at the beginning of every hour while making sure no hazards are on the ground such as spills or objects to prevent customers from falling and slipping to avoid injuries.
Crush cardboard and empty the bail machine when the cardboard gets fills up the entire machine.
Empty recycle bins whenever they are full. In the middle of my closing shift, I close the recycle machine area and sweep up any dirt or trash to keep the area clean.
Empty all garbage cans throughout the building including the ones in the main office.
Prep all unwanted fruits and vegetables (aka compost) into a compost dumpster.
Keep all bathrooms clean.
Wash down the entire floor in the produce room to keep it clean.
Dispose of all garbage in the compactor room.
Sweep the entire floor in the receiving area.

Job Title: Cart Clerk
Empty all garbage cans in the parking lot.
When doing a closing shift, stack all carts at the front entrance and use a chain to wrap around all carts and put a lock on the chain to prevent strangers from stealing the carts.
Count all carts and feel the manager to keep an exact number of how many carts we have.
