My main goal in applying for this position is to get laboratory experience and to start my career. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry this past May, and am looking to work in a lab setting to get as much training and experience as I can. Skills

Experience working with GC-MS, HPLC, and SFC-MS along with their respective programs. Also have basic knowledge on how to use laboratory equipment such as a centrifuge, analytical balances, micropipettes, SDS-PAGE, and spectroscopy (UV/VIS absorbance, Fluorescence, IR, and Raman). Proficient is Microsoft Excel as well as IGOR Pro for data analysis. Experience with other instrumentation such as ICP-MS, AAS, FTIR Spectroscopy, and Cyclic Voltammetry. I have taken classes in General, Organic, Analytical, Bioanalytical, Physical, and Medicinal Chemistry, as well as Instrumental Methods and General Aspects of Pharmacology. Education

Student Research Assistant - Rowan University, Glassboro, NJ Operate GC-MS for the analysis of fatty acids as well as cocaine metabolites. Construct and program a syringe pump for cheaper and more effective sample preparation. Currently being trained on SFC-MS and LC-MS instrumentation for future projects.
