SUMMARY

As I await the defence of my PhD thesis in life sciences, I am eager to explore new opportunities that will allow me to apply my analytical, scientific, and management skills in the pharmaceutical industry and clinical trial market. My ultimate goal is to contribute to meaningful discoveries that improve the quality of life while advancing my professional growth. I am eager to deepen my knowledge of Clinical Trials and cardiovascular diseases, as well as be able to develop my professional career. Therefore, I desire to be part of Medpace, joining the Associate Clinical Trial Manager (PhD) position with intense training.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Project and data management Max Planck Institute 09/2019 – 06/2023

• As a PhD fellow, I managed a cross-functional collaborative research project studying the evolution of human language, which resulted in 2 first-author publications, 4 published collaborations and 8 oral presentations at international conferences, with one award for the best oral presentation.

• I designed and monitored a protocol to collect biological big databases across 2 sites in Africa and 5 sites in Germany.

• Expertise in data monitoring, data quality, data accuracy, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualizations and communication of biological results.

• Experience managing, training, and mentoring a team of 9 research assistants and master students. Being the communication link between the project coordinator and assistants.

• I have technical knowledge, experience in writing and reviewing protocols and reports, and communication and presentation skills of complex data to all types of audiences. I have excellent organization skills, attention to detail and experience in problem-solving, time management and resource management.

Research coaching and mentoring Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) 01/2022 – 08/2022

• I mentored two master students during their master project study.

• I accomplished training in situ on data collection and remote monitoring of the students and the data quality. I supported them with the management, analysis, and visualization of the data using Excel, R and Power BI.

Research assistant Max Planck Institute 09/2017 – 09/2018

• I worked in Ivory Coast in a team with international research assistants and local field assistants for a cognitive and behavioural study.

• I planned work schedules and managed lab and work resources. I collected, cleaned, organized, and stored data. I wrote monthly reports for the project’s director while reporting daily to the project manager.

• The unpredictable life and work in the remote African forest implied solving many daily problems and being flexible to adapt to changes.
