I started my career in neurosurgery in 1992 in Military hospital Riyadh Saudi Arabia which is tertiary Neurosurgical center and worldwide recognized and top ranking in Middle east for functional and stereotactic Radiosurgery .

Second center in Asia to start Radiosurgery in 1991

Maj Gen Prof K Al Moutary Vice President world federation of neurosurgery was the founding member and he handed over radiosurgery project to me for further development Later on Stereotactic Radioisotope implantation with iodine for deep seated brain tumors,surgery for movement disorder, implantation of VNS,implantation of olfactory mucoa in spinal cord injury and LINAC & GAMA Knife Perfection radiosurgery was started.

We trained in1996,Prof Ganapati from india for radiosurgery and later on 2008 Pakistan Govt contacted me to established Radiosurgery in Karachi and I arranged all selection of Cyberkife with founder of it Prof john Adler and Prof Jooma .It was honor for me.

I have been trained by Prof Ostertac Chairman of functional stereotactic neurosurgery university of Freiburg Germany for 6 years and worked with him and certified .He is world famous for his work, Freiburg was house of invention of Stereotaxy in history.

I have an honor to work with Prof Falbouch,Prof W Storm in military hospital as they were also our faculty members and known for stereotactic neurosurgery.

I have developed a neurosurgical teaching residency program and teaching and developed 80brain anatomy models after dissection in lab for teaching medical students and surgical residents.

I have also advanced knowledge and training for 3D neuro anatomy,neuronavigational system and advanced software for Functional MRI, brain atlas and Tractography

I have also presented worldwide our 28 years’ experience of stereotactic radiosurgery in US, Canada and Worldwide .

Current Position

As a neurosurgery carry out all responsibilities, 24 hour on call to response all neurosurgical emergency cases in A&E, operative cases and two days of OPD. Teaching medical students and post graduate trainee Junior Doctors.

Carry out Neurosurgical operations like, decompressive craniotomies, Evacuation of subdural hematomas, chronic subdural hematomas.

Management of severe head trauma, bullet injuries to brain, depressed skull fractures,

all kind of VP shunts, Nerve repairs, and pediatric neurosurgical emergencies.

To manage brain tumors and spontaneous cerebral hematomas surgically. Management of Severe head injuries in ICU To carry out military mission responsibilities as an assignment.
