When a banquet was not scheduled I would help in the restaurant as well. Managing the dining room floor. And helping to expo food out of the kitchen. Basically whatever was needed.

While I was out on leave the company had a change of hands. And I was notified that my position was no longer available. They actually had notified me by letter and phone call. They thanked me for all my hard work and wished me luck in the future.

I had planned on leaving the restaurant this summer. Because my mission was to get my CDL-A and truck drive. This is something I've always wanted to do. And my children are adults now. So, I felt the time was right for me to pursue my career in truck driving.
