Involved in design/drawing development of steel plant eqpt.,cement plant eqpt. EOT cranes, Gearboxes and gearing items, I have very long experience of gear design . I have designed gearboxes from few kg to 56 tons by wt. .

Design work included EOT crane drive calculations, gear design calculation, tooth profile calculation, bearing selection, design and preparation of assembly/detail manufacturing drawings . The drawings included material, heat treatment requirements, machining and welding requirements, fits and tolerances, geometrical dimensions and other technical requirements

Design work included spur gear, helical gear, internal gears, bevel gear, spiral bevel gear, worm gear, planetary gear, girth gear, rack and pinion, gear coupling,straight and involute splines . reverse engineering of gearing items .

These included checking of design, drawings, calculations done by other designers .

These included design/drawing for sintering machine, sinter cooler, nodulizing drum, kiln,cooler, units of EOT crane such as hoist drive, Long Travel Drive, Cross travel drive etc .

These included sheet metal and fabrication design/drawing development .

These included close co ordination with technology department and manufacturing shop, fabrication shop all located in same campus,

Quality control and assurance department, marketing deptt., purchase deptt., site erecton and commissioning .
