Becton Dickinson Metrology Engineer

09/1993-06/2023

Worked closely with R&D and Tooling engineers measuring prototype parts prior to going into the manufacturing phase.

During my nearly 30 years with the company, I received several promotions. I started as a senior inspector, then became lead inspector, and eventually became supervisor, a position that I held for almost 10 years. I moved to the metrology department wherein I stayed for approximately 1.5 years.

Rockwell International QA Technician

1989-1993

Work on the Space Shuttle main engine program. Duties were overseeing the post flight disassembly of turbos, intense mechanical and visual inspection of components, and overseeing the reassembly.

Allied Signal (Bendix) Precision Inspector

1984-1989

I started as a machinist but eventually moved to inspection. The products built were hydraulic flight controls and submarine hydraulics.
