Schedule and confirm medical appointments for patients. Communicate messages as they arrive for patients and referring physicians.

Patient intake. This includes organizing and processing requisitions, patient screening forms and inputting patient and procedure information into RIS software.

Greet patients in a friendly, helpful and professional manner. Always maintain confidentiality and patients’ privacy at all-time.

Patient registration / check in. Interviewing the patients to get the demographic information and complete the screening forms and related documentation into the case history.

Provide training for RIS software and supervise new staff as necessary.

Prepare CD's and other patient information for review by the healthcare professional.

Prepare the invoices/billing statements for third party and self- paid patients and communicate with the accounting team when necessary. Submits billings to CCAC, WSIB and other organizations as required.

Provide administrative support in documents retrieval auditing and help in different levels of internal procedures. Works in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and its regulations, reporting hazards, deficiencies and contraventions of the Act, in a timely manner.
