Instahub – Data Analyst Intern, Remote June 2022–Dec. 2022
Managed and updated the schema of the company database using SQL, allowing for more complete data and better interpretation by senior members
Implemented machine learning algorithms using Python, which is now used by the data science team to perform data analysis
Collaborated with the back-end team and developed lifetime classification models that is automatically updated on the AWS system, which provided more accurate analysis results to customers.

Cooperated with one of the largest canned beverage companies in Taiwan, and provided the company with prediction models on quality of raw tea materials to ensure stable production.
Obtained Silver Medal in the Poster/Thesis Competition awarded by Conference on Agricultural Machinery and Bio-Mechatronics Engineering, Chinese Institute of Agricultural Machinery.
Built classification models to predict the production season of tea ingredients, using SVM, RF, and KKN, resulting in 99% accuracy.
Built prediction models to identify tea compositions using PLSR, CARS and VIP, with 2 around 0.93.
RESEARCH & PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Object Navigation using Meta-Learning in AI2-THOR, Tempe, AZ Jan. 2022 – Apr. 2022
The agent was trained to navigate to known objects in a known environment using SAVN with the goal of enabling agents to adapt to unknown environments and objects.
The success rate is 84% in identifying and navigating to unknown objects in unknown environments.
Data Augmentation Impact for Image Classification, Tempe, AZ Aug. 2021 – Jan. 2022
Preprocessed image data through a variety of random erasing methods, and implemented ResNet50 framework and Grad-CAM to deliver insights and statistical analysis, ultimately improving the model performance by 5%.
Automatic Delivery Robot, Taiwan, Taipei Feb. 2021 – June 2021
Project leader of designing an automatic delivery robot with Solidworks and microcontrollers
Established the automatic obstacle avoidance function of the robot by image processing and recognition methods with RaspberryPi and OpenCV.
