When on call I have direct responsibility for the initial assessment and management of the patients coming to ICU and anaesthetize patients for emergency operation with direct supervision. I conduct and supervise all elective and emergency caesarean sections under both regional and general anaesthesia, and provide epidural services for labour analgesia. I also handle all the problematic cases myself smoothly and efficiently. I am also actively participating in weekly tutorials and present demonstrations for the trainees & house officers.

I also gained experience in day case anaesthesia and laparoscopic surgery.
