As a coppersmith and sheet metal worker, am versed with studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job, materials and equipments needed for job completion.

Choosing and selecting ferrous and non-ferrous metals such as stainless steel, galvanised iron, mild steel, brass, aluminium and copper, and checking sizes, gauges and other dimensions of metal stock against specifications.

Cutting metal stock along guidelines using hand and power shears such as bench shear, guillotines and drills, hand brace, etc.

Fitting and assembling components into final products by welding, riveting, soldering, brazing and otherwise joining manually-cramp joints, knocked up joints, etc.

Finishing products by polishing, filing, sanding and cleaning assembled products using buffing wheel, sand blasting, etc.

May specialise in fabrication, or on-site assembly and installation, of sheetmetal products.
