Estella has 13 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment by identifying and retaining motivated, high performing teams of technical experts, 6 of which has been with USAID projects in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Senegal, Ghana, DRC, Zambia, South Africa, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Mali, The Gambia and Burkina Faso. She also supports recruitment, in part, in USA, UK and Vietnam. In her current role with PATH, she is responsible for managing high volume recruitments across the region, with positions ranging from Chief of Party, Global Heads, Project Directors, Senior Technical Advisors, Senior Program Officers, Directors of Finance, Monitoring and Evaluation, HR, Procurement, Grants and Contracts, Communications, Advocacy, as well as ensuring compliance with USAID and local labor laws. She has elaborate experience working with multiple partners hiring in donor funded health related projects with USAID, Gates Foundation, CDC, DFID, GAVI TCA, Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, Clinton Health Access Initiative and GIZ.

Manages an average of 25 open positions in any given month.
Manages 7 staff, comprising of 4 Recruiters and 3 Talent Coordinators.
Recruit and vet highly specialized staff for field-based positions pertaining to: HIV/AIDS, TB, Malaria, OVC, AMR, NCD’s, NTD’s and Infectious Diseases, GHSA, Digital Health, IMNCH, Immunization and Vaccines, COVID-19, Surveillance, Health Economist, Monitoring and Evaluation, QI/QA, Researchers, Diagnostics, Legal, Procurement, Finance, HR, IT, Administrative, Supply Chain, Procurement, Grants and Contracts.
Manage recruitments in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Senegal, Ghana, DRC, Zambia, South Africa, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Mali, The Gambia and Burkina Faso.
I serve on the Africa HR Leadership Team (AFRHLT), providing regional perspective and data-driven metrics to influence regional HR decisions. I partner with third-party agencies and staffing firms and manage the procurement and measurement process.
I lead the Africa HR Support Team, a team of Talent Coordinators, where I lead the coordination of the administrative support to all HRBPs and Recruiters within the region as per the regional SOPs. I also lead the building and maintenance of all HR processes and tools in line with local legislation and PATH global policies and manage all talent programs for PATH in the region.
