*Certified Peer Recovery Coach (Forensic, Professionalism, Emergency Department, Ethical Considerations, P.R.C.A and Spiritual Coaching) through Sparkle, LLC- Light at the End of the Tunnel
Becoming a Peer Recovery Coach was a decision I had made, mostly in part, due to my personal experience, having struggled with Substance Use Disorder for 16 years. On October 8, 2017, I had started my recovery journey. I feel it most important to pass along the support, encouragement and provide the necessary resources to help build the self-efficacy in recoverees wishing to establish a strong and effective recovery from their struggles with Substance Use Disorder. It’s a passion of mine to connect and walk alongside those who look to build a life worth experiencing and sharing with others. The thought of becoming a member of a recovery center’s staff, is closely followed by the ideas of how I can contribute to helping build it and be a part of it’s successes in reaching their goals; to help it flourish in its vision, and community.
