Developed SharePoint sites with workflow to replace Lotus Notes/ Domino applications

Translated forms, business logic, workflows stored in Lotus Notes / Domino and data into custom SharePoint Online Applications

Served as the Technical Leader for the Information Technology Operations Workgroup (ITOWG) for Application Development Governance where I recommended, documented, designed and implemented best practices for migrating Lotus Notes data to various platforms

Developed end-user documentation to allow the EPA Helpdesk team to install and configure the Lotus Notes client that points to the end-user’s mail file

Designed, configured, developed and implemented SharePoint low-code web sites to replace Domino applications

Troubleshot common Domino problems and worked with the appropriate technical support staff to provide application workarounds

Developed and maintained a Master Dashboard of all centrally hosted Domino applications that included all information related to the application (application owner contact information, application documentation for users and developers, application dependencies, etc.)

Lotus Notes Data Migration (Email and Applications)

·Planned and consolidated 150 Domino Mail and Application Servers

·Migrating 25,000+ Lotus Notes applications to various RDBMS or modern collaboration platforms

·Used CData’s HCL Domino API with Apache NiFi to migrate 2500 Lotus Notes mailboxes to Office365

·Developed integration with Lotus Notes ID Vault to automate the authentication of IDs migrate mailboxes where users had retired from company

·Developed program to export emails as PDFs for archiving / legal hold purposes

·Used Apache NiFi to transform data exported from IBM Lotus Notes to SharePoint Postgres, Oracle Apex, Oracle, PDF Files, CSV and HTML files

·Developed ETL flows using NiFi to expose Domino data as REST endpoints to migrate data in the following formats: Office 365 Outlook (email), Excel (data exports), Microsoft Planner (email to task tracking) and SharePoint/PowerApps (application modernization)

Messaging and Mail Routing

·Created and configured mail-in databases to allow projects to receive email

·Created email accounts with instructions for easy step-by-step installation for end users

·Monitored Domino environment statistics with EM7 InfraView tool for viewing near-realtime alerts on server uptime, hardware failures, and REST endpoint availability

·Configured Apache NiFi to trigger a POST response to a Microsoft Teams channel to make it easy to view alerts from EM7 InfraView within a Microsoft Teams channel via a webhook

Domino System Administration / Architecture

·Developed and managed multiple EPA Domino Clustered Server environments supporting EPA service level agreements (SLAs) for high-availability and failover for the EPA Domino Directory, Resource Reservation database for calendar and scheduling, mail servers and internet/ intranet application servers.
