Direct warehouse, shipping and receiving personnel (6 – 10 employees) to receive, store, issue and ship work-in-process inventory to other departments or partner vendors, and finished goods to customers.

Schedule and assign work tasks for second shift packing personnel.

Work closely with Production Planning to properly plan and prepare for upcoming shipments.

Coordinate certifications with final testing according to customer requirements.

Maintain appropriate inventories of packing supplies for proper handoff to final shipping.

Instruct, train, direct, assist, and advise packing and shipping employees, as well as sister departments, as to methods, schedules, and procedures to reduce schedule slips and ensure proper hand-off.
