Objective

An accomplished and Registered Civil Engineer is seeking a Principal Engineer position in the field of Civil Engineering.

Ability Summary

Warehouse racks design, specifications, and cost estimate, including seismic analysis and design, including on-site inspection.

Supervision of design division, design and prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates for various public works projects, including council reports. Projects also include state and federal funding. Provide reports, engineering data, and cost estimates to city budget.

Design and prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and council reports for various routine and complex public improvements projects, including state and federally funded projects.

Perform plan checks of private and public projects to ensure that the developer complies with the city’s specification, codes, and standards.

Analyze soil, geological and design data. Perform field inspections and field survey.

Analyze City of West Covina water distribution system using computerized programs, provide reports, engineering data and cost estimates to City Budget committee. Review and supervise City water system projects.

Prepare Bond agreements, and checklist for various projects. Confer and coordinate with other city personnel and representatives of other public and private agencies, public about City’s various Engineering initiatives.

Design and Engineering experience in the areas of site development, plot planning, flood protection, hydrological calculations, drainage, water and sanitation systems, roads, grading, earthwork calculations, preparation construction drawings, cost estimating, specification, drafting supervision, coordination. Use of computer programing and drafting for refinery area.

Sub-division work consists of land planning, site development grading, earthwork calculation, parcel maps, plans and profiles of storm drain, sanitary, sewer and roads. Field survey, design of small structures like retaining walls, etc., use of computer programming related to traverses, roads and drafting.
