Masonry position

‘My name is Chris Byers. I've been in masonry for 29 years. I started off as a hod carrier in

the residential side and worked my way up in 9 years to head foreman for Tony Rewus, and a

couple of other contractors. I joined the union in 2000 and worked my way up from a 3rd year

apprentice to head foreman for union company and worked there for 7-8 years. While in union T

received some of the best training in the industry. I have been grout, flashing and welding

certified at various times, Also had OSHA 10 and several scaffold training classes.

T'm enclosing some contacts to reach for references. I feel I'd be an asset to this company.

I'm hard working, honest, dependable and)take great pride in my work. Some of my personal

valued achievements are running and laying out North High school in Indiana along with the

middle school and additions to the grade school. Several buildings on the campus of University

of Southern Indiana. I was responsible for the entire lay out of stone on the high rise luxury

condos on central Ave in St Pete Florida and in my younger years bricked a house including full

masonry fireplace alone and it won Ist place in the

yung Indiana parade of homes. I love

this trade and am always willing to learn more and grow in this industry
