• Peer reviewed Manuscript in Neuroscience Insights (Sage Journals) entitled “Role of Citocoline in patients with mild cognitive impairment “

• Manuscript in preparation 1- The manuscript hypothesizes that candidate neuroprotective therapies will not have correlated effects between neuroprotection and RGC electrophysiology and circuit preservation, and that different candidate therapies will affect different RGC subtypes.

• Manuscript in preparation 2- The working title of the manuscript is “Re- expression of developmental transcription factors induces retinal ganglion cells that project to visual targets”. The manuscript hypothesizes harnessing the developmental potential of Müller glial cells to enable retinal ganglion cell generation. RESEARCH AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Stanford School of Medicine – Department of Ophthalmology, Byer’s Eye Institute August 16, 2021, to Present

• Molecular biology techniques that include (isolation, purification and maintenance of bacteria, bacterial transformation), plasmid construction (using Snapgene) for AAV packaging and thereby preparing for subretinal injections in mice for retinal gene transfer into developing retinas for in vivo analysis of retinal genes

• Mice eyeball retinal dissections that were followed by immunohistochemistry especially RBPMS staining (for retinal ganglion cells) and confocal imaging for quantification of surviving retinal ganglion cells, optic nerve staining (PPD stain) to quantify surviving axons and axons regeneration.

• Silicon oil injections (anterior chamber of the eye) for mice model of Glaucoma and IOP (intraoperative pressure measurements), intravitreal injections of AAV in the eye

• Assist with rodent eye surgeries and OCT (optical coherence tomography in mice), in situ imaging of fundus of the eye and the retina.
