• Provide proactive and strategic leadership for the electrical engineering discipline and functions, offering direction, expertise, and support to ensure project and work site deliverables are achieved successfully within the business sector with the highest standards and in compliance with safety and all the rules and regulations.

• Responsible for Cost of Goods on all assigned jobs. Maintains, and reviews all RFIs, submittals, substitution requests, change proposals, project schedules, project budgets, purchase orders, and invoices for multiple construction of residential and commercial projects in the area of electricity, plumbing supply, plumbing sewer, and mechanical (HVAC).

• Lead larger-scale more complex electrical engineering projects ensuring contributors know what they are required to do and by when, preparing and overseeing relevant project budgets, monitoring external events, tracking hours and expenses, ensuring satisfactory performance, and supervising subcontractors, contract work, and employees.

• Prepare bids and execute projects of any type for the construction of civil, electrical, mechanical, sanitary works, urban planning including all technical and descriptive specifications.

• Lead a team of engineers, architects, and other professionals to design and develop electrical systems for various building projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial facilities.

• Design and implement electrical systems in compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and standards.

• Supervise and review electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, analysis of electrical load, calculation of electrical connections, modules, and cabinets for alternating electrical generation, banks of transformers, one-line diagrams, high and low voltage project, electrical distribution lines, electrical substations, electromechanical systems, emergency power systems, grounding, and lightning protection.

• Select and specify electrical equipment and materials, such as transformers, switchgear, panelboards, and wiring devices.

• Lead technical aspects of contract negotiation, presentations, and meetings.

• Read/decipher regulations and industry codes along with explaining requirements to others.

• Direct and oversee routine and advanced technical work performed by others on assigned projects and maintains quality standards of all assigned projects.

• Some areas of expertise include but are not limited to Low, Medium & High Voltage Distribution, Electrical Equipment Including Substations, Switchgear, and Protective Relaying, Electrical Systems Modeling Arc Flash, Short Circuit & Coordination Studies, Electrical Equipment Maintenance & Testing, Lighting Systems, Emergency Power Systems, Grounding and Lightning Protection.

• Knowledge of Code IPC 2018, Code IMC 2018, NEC 2020, Code IBC 2018, Code IECC 2018, Code IRC 2018, Code IBC 2021.

• Construction of high and low voltage electrical distribution network of 2400 housing units. Budget of

$2MM with a team of 25 people. Multifamily and Electrical distribution Project.

• Managed and construction of several buildings of the penitentiary city of Coro, Falcon state, Venezuela. 26,000 m2. Budget of $3 MM supervised 450 subcontractors. Government project.

• Managed and construction of the housing development Las Islas 246 homes. Multifamily Project.
