Sole Proprietor: provide supportive keyboard/vocal worship and spiritual care in a multitude of settings such as: church worship services, hospice & dementia patient visits, retirement communities, grief support groups, workshops, memorials, classes, special events, etc. Recorded CD’s for use in spiritual care events and released Soothing Spirituals CD.
BRISTOL HOSPICE, Honolulu, Hawaii 10/2018 to 11/2022
Chaplain Coordinator: provided spiritual care to patients & families per Medicare compliance requirements. Duties and responsibilities included providing: spiritual care to patients, families and staff, mentoring Chaplain team members, IDT collaboration, initiating staff support events such as Blessing of Hands and Tea-for-the Soul, BCC committee chairman, providing live piano music/singing for various events, memorial services, facility activities, and more.
HAWAII STATE HOSPITAL, Kaneohe, Hawaii 12/2012 to 11/2017
Chaplain Coordinator: Responsible to the Hawaii State Hospital Medical Director and Pacific Health Ministry (PHM) Executive Director to lead and oversee the interfaith Spiritual Care (SC) program for a 200-bed forensic psychiatric state hospital. Duties and responsibilities included creating and executing: SC classes, small groups and community workshops, chapel and memorial services, SC programming master plan, employee support initiatives, connections with community clergy, patient community reintegration events, SC integration into hospital treatment teams, and annual remembrance service with government dignitaries. Other duties include: staff Chaplain coordination, patient spiritual assessment and interventions with documentation, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and music ministry.
BANNER THUNDERBIRD MEDICAL CENTER, Glendale, AZ 4/08 to 7/12
Chaplain: Responsible to the Director of the Department of Spiritual Care to provide staff Chaplain duties, end of life and beginning of life care, and music ministry to staff, patients and families in the 542 bed medical center. Other duties include: creating and presenting spiritual care workshops to staff, facilitating support groups for Behavioral Health and chronic disease patients; participating on Palliative Care, Bioethics, Stroke, and Hospitalists Committees, providing marriage and memorial services, preceptor responsibilities to Chaplain Interns, teaching cultural diversity to new employees. Awarded July 2010 Employee of the Month Award of 3000 employees.
MAYO CLINIC HOSPITAL, Phoenix, AZ 2007 to 2011
Chaplain: Responsible to the manager of Chaplain Services to provide part-time Chaplain duties, piano ministry, and Chapel services in the 207 bed state-of-the-art inpatient medical center.

SCOTTSDALE VILLAGE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY, Scottsdale, AZ 2003 to 2011
Chaplain: Responsible to the Director of Activites to provide pastoral care and Chapel services with music for independent, assisted-living, and dementia patients. Scottsdale Village Square is a senior living community with over 200 independent, assisted-living, and memory loss residents.
ELMBROOK CHURCH, Brookfield, WI 1996 to 2003
Wisconsin’s largest non-denominational church with more than 22 Pastors and 250 individual ministries, including a senior adult ministry that serves local senior retirement communities and nursing homes. Deacon - responsible to Pastor of the Senior Adult Ministry for leadership within the ministry and for creating two piano solo CD’s for use by the musical teams. Also, responsible to the Pastor of the Singles Ministry for specific ministerial duties including: leading worship and overseeing Inner Support Divorce Recovery Ministry that served over 1000 families. Organized and
mentored a lay-ministry team of 40 facilitators that resulted in an increase in attendance of over 300% and reconciled marriages.
