Qualifications
Manage patients on ventilators. Assessment of patients on admission. Set-up and operate CPAP and BiPAP machines, suction pumps, pulse oximetry, apnea monitors. Also administer nebulizer and MDI treatments along with IPPB. Perform trach care, ABG's and EKG's. Instruct patients and their families on the performance and handling of equipment. Monitor equipment, observe patients and assure the patient's comfort. Oversee the maintenance, sterilization, proper assembly, and testing of all medical machine and auxiliary equipment the patient uses.
