Summary:

I have the desire to contribute to the success of a growing company. While working at Hospira, (currently Abbott Labs), and Dresser Wayne, I was a leader at both of those jobs. People looked up to me as a role model. I like being a leader at my job, and I like to take on extra responsibilities whenever I am able to do so. I strive to be the best that I can be daily, even while working under pressure and meeting deadlines. By being a lead, I was responsible for signing all paperwork that was needed to be completed at the end of each shift and delivered to my supervisor and upcoming supervisor of the next shift.

Technician

I worked with a group of people in a printer repair area. We received on a daily basis, shipments of receipt printers located in gas pumps in need of troubleshooting. After the printers were evaluated, they were sent to Quality Control to be inspected and made sure they were working correctly. I was also trained to work in Quality Control as well. I kept track of inventory on a daily basis of how many printers of each model we had repaired in stock, plus how many more needed to be troubleshooted. I would then report my findings into the Oracle System.

I worked with a team of individuals in a mixing department that manufactured health vitamins for daily use. My co-workers and I would receive the manufacturing order and depending on how much ingredient of each powder, would fill each order. We then added the ingredients to a mixer to mix together. After mixture was complete, we cleaned areas to me GMP regulations.

Received beer orders on a daily basis from 13 surrounding counties around Austin. I built the customer’s orders per what the salemen would request. I also worked in the breaker room repacking good beer from the bad to resell. I kept daily inventory to make sure that the beer was being rotated out properly. At end of shift, would make my report of the good and bad beer to turn in to supervisor.

I worked with a team of individuals in a sterile clean room environment that manufactured approximately 120,000 IV bags of saline and non-saline medicated solutions. These solutions were given by doctors to their patients while under their care in hospitals and clinics. I also kept track on a daily basis of how many defective, as well as non-defective bags were produced during my shift and reported information to my supervisor and lead of my shift. I was also trained to be a leader for the department.

HEB Grocery Company - Austin, TX (Sept 1996-June 1999)

Dairy & Grocery Departments

I stocked shelves daily with fresh goods and kept track of daily inventory control. I also kept track of temperatures in cooler vaults to make sure products were in proper temperature range to prevent spoilage. I loaded and unloaded trucks daily. I placed dairy orders on certain nights and at other times as needed for more product. I also helped out in the Meat Department when needed.
