Analysed and interpreted the adsorption rate and hardness of Dura and Tenera palm kernel shell. The Use of Agro Waste in the Flocculation of Suspended Particles in Water Bodies Polluted by Artisanal Small-Scale Mining (January 2020 – July 2020) University of Mines and Technology, Ghana (Supervisor: Dr. Eric A. Agorhom) Performed flocculation studies using orange peels, unripe plantain peels and fresh soya bean as bio-flocculants.

Evaluated the settling efficiency of total suspended solids in polluted water bodies. Bioaccumulation of Heavy Metals in Selected Tissues of Mudfish in ‘Bogrekrom Stream

(September 2019 – December 2019) Class Group Project Leader (Supervisor: Dr. Eric A. Agorhom) Performed acid digestion with HCl and HNO3 on the liver, gills and flesh of mudfish Determined the concentrations of heavy metals such as Hg, Zn, Pb, Cu and Cd in fish tissues and the stream using an Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS)

• UNDERGRADUATE THESIS: Effect of Flotation Reagents on Cyanidation of Gold Ores (January 2020 – August 201)

University of Mines and Technology, Ghana (Supervisor: Prof. Grace Ofori-Sarpong)

Performed cyanidation test on gold ores at different frother concentrations.

Carried out pH analysis before and after the addition of reagents and also after cyanidation.

Depending on the nature of the gold-bearing sulphides, flotation reagents at different concentrations may or may not significantly affect the recovery of Gold.

• Photocatalytic degradation of cyanide (January 2021– April 2021) Class Group Project Leader (Supervisor: Dr Francis Kwaku Dartey).

Samples were prepared by additions of reagents.

Metallurgical titration was carried out.

Sunlight can degrade cyanide at optimum time exposure.
