DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform Phlebotomy which is to accurate and gentle vein puncture procedures to collect blood.

Centrifuge the specimen when required.

Responsible for packaging of sample according to lab standards.

Responsible for the smooth operation of entire aspects of collection point.

Handle telephone enquiries regarding lab test

Train new or junior staff according to laboratory policy as and when required.

Carry out patient registration in laboratory information system check and process lab test prescribe by the doctor’ by entering details pertaining to the patient.
