Responsibilities:
• Assist with the execution of instrumentation isolations, preparation of inhibits/overrides, and permit generation.
• Analysis of schematics, loop drawings, P&IDs, PFDs, Cause and Effect Charts and Data sheets for troubleshooting, and permit preparation.
• Utilization of instrument test equipment such as the 475 Field Communicator, AMS Trex Communicators, Multi-meters, Fluke 754 and 744 Process Calibrators, Hand pumps, DC Power supplies, Ultrasonic indicators and Portable Gas Detectors for instrument calibration and troubleshooting.
• Carry out maintenance tasks and repair work; including job close out in 1SAP to complete scheduled tasks from the maintenance plans.
• Enter and retrieve data from 1SAP and update reports as required with closing details to work orders and notifications.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting such as loop checks, field calibration, repair, and replacement of instrumentation equipment such as pressure switches, valves, pressure, level and temperature transmitters.
• Troubleshooting and replacing of Well head control panel's hydraulic control systems components.
• Preventative and Corrective Maintenance of Gas Compressors and Power Package (Gas Turbine Generators) instrumentation based equipment.
• Perform Preventive and Corrective maintenance of the platform’s emergency alarm stations.
• Execution of both Preventative and Corrective maintenance such as calibration, testing, and replacement of Hydrocarbon, Smoke, and Thermal detectors.
• Inspection, testing and corrective maintenance of fire protection systems and its respective components such as Fire and Gas Detectors, Fusible Loops System, Extinguishing Agent Cylinders, and Deluge System’s Fire Water Pumps.
• Perform work in accordance with approved equipment, maintenance plans, permits, and work procedures.
• Ensure all relevant documentation such as permit to work, job risk assessments, procedures, isolation certification, proof plans, P&IDs, loop drawings and MSDS are prepared prior to execution of planned and breakdown maintenance tasks.
