Planning and arranging group transportation using UN available sources including CIVPOL rotation. Projecting vehicle and driver requirements, ensuring accurate bus service, Local or Out Station assignments cargo services.

Coordinating with MOVCON for the tasking of all operational road transport matters. Supervising staff assigned to Transport Dispatch Unit and required to evaluate performance of staff members assigned to the unit.

Ensuring quality control, safety and roadworthiness of the dispatch vehicles/requirement.

Monitoring, tracking & recording of all locally moved cargos, done using a Cargo Log. Offload cargo at destination and ensures cargo manifest is signed by the recipient and return document to office and maintain copy of the cargo manifest.

Install car log hardware into all categories of UN vehicles. Troubleshoot and repair car log and electrical system faults. Update and reset car log data during installation and after maintenance carried out.

Ensures that records of nonexpendable UN assets maintained in fleet management databases record. 3, Ensures that vehicle write-off cases are processed in accordance with the established procedures and deadlines.

Provides technical expertise on Contingent Own Equipment (COE) and safety.

Provide theoretical and practical training of car log installation to technicians.

Perform vehicle road test to assure quality after the job has been done. Supervise the job and coordinate with the regional transport officers and workshop supervisors relating car log issues. -Monitor and ensure all safety precautions are in place and respected.

Conduct driving test, encoding and issuing driver’s license and maintain the drivers' assessment result for record.
