In this position, I have been able to grow my task and project management skills. The grounds at the church were needing some attention. I was able to coordinate the hiring of a professional Landscape Management company thus improving the overall look of the church campus. I then turned my attention to the event coordination and contracting process bringing this process to its current updated state. one of my favorite parts of working in this position is coordinating with various departments to bring together several large events each year such as our Vacation Bible School program, our Christmas programming, and our Easter programming.

In this position, I have been able to learn and improve the preventive maintenance process at our facility. The preventive maintenance process was lacking and behind schedule prior to the improvements made. I also assisted with facility improvement by organizing and expanding or storage areas. I have also had the opportunity to assist with the preparation of a soon to be opened Dialysis Clinic in Compton, these preparations included performing preventative maintenance and calibrations on 30 dialysis machines, collecting, and preparing water samples for water cultures monthly, developing and completing repair, sanitation, disinfection, and daily check logs.

Responsible for scheduling and performing preventative maintenance on 27 dialysis machines.

Repaired calibrated dialysis machines as needed.

Responsible for day-to-day facility maintenance.

Organize and maintain inventories and storage of daily dialysis supplies

In this position, I have been able to assist with the upgrade of our booking system from Resource 25 to the web-based 25Live. This upgrade gave our department the ability to book events more efficiently. We were able to reduce double bookings in our classrooms. I was able to be a part of the teams that both transitioned our vending services to our new beverage vending provider as well as our transition to a new multifamily laundry services provider for the laundry rooms in student conference housing.

During my time here at Glenkirk Church I have had the opportunity to manage the staff active shooter awareness training program. I have been able to assist with improving the look and feel of the campus environment through my work with the facility staff of the church. Also, at Azusa Pacific University I have had the opportunity and privilege to work with several teams on several projects that have fostered my professional growth. I have been able to assist with improving the conference program, year-round events program, and the vending program. I have had the privilege to improve the booking system used by the university.
