PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
State laboratory engineer, USTHB University - January 1995 to September 2002.
Assistant professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Process engineering of the USTHB from 2002 – 2007.
Lecturer class B, Department of Environmental Engineering of the USTHB from 2008 to 2013.
Professor, Department of Environmental Engineering of USTHB from July 2019 until now.
RESEARCH INTERESTS (CURRENT RESEARCH AREA)
Electrochemical depollution of industrial effluents (Surface treatment and pharmaceutical industry).
Elimination of heavy metals in industrial waste by membrane filtration processes. Modeling of the species transfer phenomenon in these aqueous media.
Adsorption and characterization of electrochemically doped solids.
Study of transfer phenomena in porous media of heavy metals contained in industrial effluents
Application of nanotechnology to the treatment of surface water and wastewater.
Characterization and adsorption of organic and mineral pollutants in water intended for consumption.
Simulation and modeling of physico-chemical treatment processes for the elimination of organic & inorganic pollutants.
