Presentation to management on the use of the PDA's that by scanning patient's
wrist band verifying name and birthday before the blood draw and printing
labels at the bedside, cut back on time and errors.
Trained new hospital employees pertaining to our job. Wrote a step by step
training procedure. Worked with other department employees to implement
new processes to stream line and cut back on turnaround times. Participated
on the Hospital Charity Backpack for kids in need, Relay for Life, Gifts for Tots
and HERS Breast Cancer Foundation volunteer.
