R E S U M E

My name is Evgenii (Eugene) Zhidelev. I am a recent immigrant from Russia. I came to US in May of 2022. From last fall until early summer, I studied English at Butte College. It's certainly not perfect at this point, but I can communicate and understand the necessary instructions and such. This resume I am writing in English on my own without the help of outsiders. I continue to make great efforts in learning English and my teacher says that I am doing remarkable progress. At the moment, however, my English is good enough for a job where there are no special requirements for perfect, academic English.

I have no previous work experience in the U.S. except for occasional work in various places to earn a living. I would like to get a permanent job where I can show my diligence, responsibility, discipline, and willingness to be helpful.

Currently, parallel with studying English at Butte College, I work six hours a week as a landscaper at Chuck Tatreua Construction Inc. 1237 Mangrove Ave. Chico, CA (530 - 566 - 6267). I love this job but I am short on work hours. I desperately need a full time job.

I have some skills in working with my hands and with various tools in landscaping, carpentry, electrical and plumbing, but not professionally. I spent several years on scientific marine expeditions (on a big ship) where I had to do various jobs and use a wide range of tools. Currently I am in the process of getting a forklift license.

Since my arrival in the US I have occasionally worked for various people doing yard work or housework. Because of my responsible attitude, I have always received positive feedback on my work. These include David and Trudy Duisenberg 530-***-****), Slade and Vicki 530-***-****), Merlyn Mathew (530 -519 – 7342).

My family resides in the city of Chico. All members of my family have green cards and social security cards and are authorized to work in the United States. My daughters 13 and 6, attend Chico Junior High and Emma Wilson Elementary, respectively, where they show great diligence and ability.

I have a car and a California driver's license.
