In this capacity, I have developed strong organizational, leadership, communication, problem solving and multi-tasking skills. I have also gained experience in effective customer service. My typical day to day duties include overseeing shifts, scheduling staff to suit the needs of the company, ensuring that profit and loss is protected as much as possible by inventory counting, product waste management and increasing sales and our client base with speedy service. Other duties of mine include filing, data entry, cash control, bank reconciliation, placing and receiving orders for products and inventory. I understand that excellent customer service is crucial to a successful business, and I take pride in it and ensure that all my team members assist in providing customers with quality service. Furthermore, I have the privilege of overseeing the training of kitchen staff, new employees and assisting with the training of incoming managers.
