I am a graduate of The Master’s University in Santa Clarita California with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Kinesiology/Physical Education. With an emphasis on teaching and coaching. I’ve held several positions over the years including a delivery driver, baseball camp instructor, baseball coach, baseball umpire, personal trainer, substitute teacher, personal care attendant, landscaper, banquet server, and recreation leader. My leadership experience working in fast-paced environments has proven to be an asset.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Independent Personal Trainer- Mesa Arizona 3/23-present
I train my own clients at the gym that I have a membership at, for 1 hour sessions, 2-3 times per week. Training depends on the clients goals and abilities. I charge $40 per one hour session. We also go over nutrition, supplements, etc.
Amazon Delivery Driver (MJAD)- Mesa Arizona 3/22-5/23.
Deliver 200 to 300 packages per day in an Amazon van throughout the Mesa and Gilbert region. I work for a Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) through a company called MJAD. The shift is from 920am to 720 pm 4 to 5 days per week.
Homestead Drilling Company – Fairbanks Alaska- 6/21-7/21
Assistant driller for a drilling company. Load the trucks with all the materials at the shop and drive to the job site. Shovel, dig and assist driller with setting up the rig for drilling. Afterwards we clean up the site and put all the materials in the truck and drive back to the shop to unload. This was an 8 hour a day job.
Substitute Teacher ● Fairbanks AK ● Fairbanks North Star Borough School District ● 1/10-5/13, 10/15-2/16, 4/18-5/21.
Substitute teacher for various schools in the FNSBSD. This job is anywhere from 0-35 hours per week. I follow the teacher’s lesson plans for the day and discipline students who are misbehaving accordingly. Every day was usually a different school and age level and I had to be very patient, calm and clear when it came to giving instruction. I also taught Health as a long term substitute at North Pole Middle School from 2/10-5/10. I took over as the head teacher and implemented my own lesson plans and activities in order to teach about 120 students a day. My most recent long term sub job was teaching science at Tanana Middle School from 2/18-5/18. I took over for science and taught until the school year ended. I resumed sub teaching again from 8/18 to 3/20 and my longest sub jobs were 1 week to 3 weeks long.

Owner of ShaverFit, LLC. A sole proprietor limited liability company that helps people achieve fitness and health goals by designing and implementing training programs for individuals and groups. Main source of income and time is spent running baseball camps for ages 7–12-year-olds. I also do individual and group lessons for pitchers, position players and hitters. My camps are four to five days a week and start at 8am and end at 2pm. I spend about 35 hours per week planning, designing and running the camps.
Baseball Umpire ● Fairbanks Adult Amateur Baseball League ● Fairbanks AK ●5/17-9/20
Umpire in the field and behind the plate for a men’s baseball league in Fairbanks. I usually spend about 8 hours per week (3 games) umpiring.
Concessions● Pony League Baseball ● Fairbanks AK ● 5/19-8/19
Myself, ShaverFit, LLC rented the concessions at the baseball fields. I ran and operated all concession stands at the 9–12-year-old Pony League Baseball fields. I bought, stocked, cleaned and prepared everything. I took volunteers to run the concessions when I could not be there. I made the menus and the prices for all items. I was in charge of all profits. Time spent buying food, stocking, preparing and working events was anywhere from 15-20 hours per week.
Manager On Duty ● The Alaska Club ● Fairbanks AK ● 2/18-8/18
When the general manager was not present, I resumed all managerial duties of the entire club. I helped at the front desk, weight rooms, swimming pool, café, locker rooms, clean teams and any matters that were bought to my attention by the staff, members and guests of the club. My most important duties were closing the club. I made sure the correct amount of money was accounted for and stored away in the safe and the club was clean, cleared and locked up before leaving. This job was from 6pm-10pm Monday through Friday.
TDL Staffing ● Fairbanks AK ● 2/17-5/17
Working various jobs such as banquet server, busser for events in Fairbanks, through a temporary staffing company. This job was 7 hours a day at 35 hours per week. I helped set up for events by putting the tables, chairs, silver wear, glasses, water and food in the appropriate places. I helped refill drinks, clear tables and assist with whatever else needed to be done. After the event I helped take everything to the kitchen to be washed and stack the chairs and tables to be put away.
Baseball Coach/Player/Asst. to GM/Recruiter● Alaska Goldpanners ● Fairbanks AK●6/15-5/16
Bench coach: talking to the players and increasing their confidence in various ways of positive talk. I also played sparingly as a pitcher and outfielder. I was also an assistant to the GM at the time (Todd Dennis) in the winter of 2015-16. I helped call and recruit future players, design and order uniforms, plan baseball camps and promote the ball club by reaching out to sponsors and planning events for the summer. I received a stipend for this job and spent anywhere from 20-40 hours a week working for the club.
Landscape Construction and Maintenance ● Mainscape ● Fairbanks AK ● 5/09 – 9/09, 5/10 – 9/10, 5/11-9/11, 5/14-9/14 and 5/15-9/15.
This was a full-time seasonal position at 40 hours per week. I was responsible for leading and supervising a crew of about 4 people for mowing lawns, weed wacking, edging, shoveling, blowing and planting trees, flowers and grass on a military base. I instructed each person on how to use the riding mower, weed wacker and edger. Each day I delegated different jobs to be performed for each person on my crew. We started the morning by gassing up the mowers and loading them into the trailer, inspecting the truck and trailer for safety. I was also responsible for driving my crew in our company truck while hauling a trailer to and from our destination.
Personal Trainer ● The Alaska Club ● Fairbanks AK ● 3/12-9/12
I received clients from my fitness manager and was responsible for developing workouts for each client depending on his/her goals. This job was 20-40 hours per week. I called and set up sessions with all clientele weeks in advance until they had no more sessions left. I got to know my clientele physiologically by studying their movements and having them do certain exercises to see what muscles are underactive and overactive in order to set up a program that will enhance their flexibility, mobility, posture, strength and overall health.

I took on elderly clients who need assistance with everyday living like cooking, cleaning, picking up medications, shopping, bathing, dressing and feeding. This job was 20-30 hours per week.
College Baseball Assistant Coach ●Yuba Community College ● Marysville CA ●8/09-12/09
I was the outfield coach and worked with the hitters. I developed a throwing plan to strengthen the arms of the outfielders and did different outfield drills, teaching them on the proper mechanics on throwing and fielding the ball. I threw batting practice to the hitters and worked with them in the cages to develop their swing and correct any flaws they had in their swings. I received a stipend for this position and worked as many as 30 hours per week for practices and games. I showed up early and stayed late most days and threw batting practice to those who were wanting extra work.
Recreation Leader I ● Santa Clarita Community Center ● Santa Clarita CA ● 05/08 – 08/08
Responsible for watching and supervising kids aged 5 through 14 by providing scheduled activities and supervised field trips. This was full time 40 hours per week. I worked together as a team with other rec leaders to implement and design activities from sports, coloring, math, reading and social skills. Each day we had to work together and plan activities in all areas for the entire day. We would teach and instruct them on the skills needed to perform each activity. We would also take them on field trips to the museum, six flags, waterpark, hiking and to the beach. We instructed the kids on safety and where to go in case a dangerous situation would arise.
